A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Cream together the butter, sugar and egg. Fold in the flour and baking powder. Pour the batter into a cake springform pan. Cover the edges as well. Peel the apples and spread them evenly in thin slices on the dough. Make apple cider, sugar and vanilla pudding and pour over apples form while still boiling hot. Bake the cake for 1 and a quarter hours at 200 degrees. When cool, whip whipped cream and spread over the cake. Cut the meringue into cubes and spread evenly over the whipped cream. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Done !
