Instructions:

For the apple bread, grate the apples and mix with sugar, dried fruit (raisins, dried plums, figs), nuts, rum and cinnamon and let stand overnight.

Then mix flour and baking powder and stir into the apple mixture. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans and pour in the mixture.

Bake the apple bread at 180° degrees for about 55 minutes.
