Instructions:

For the curd slices with poppy seeds and bananas, prepare the sponge dough. For this, beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar until a fluffy mass is formed.

Mix the flour with the cocoa and the pinch of salt. Add the 30 ml of water to the egg-sugar mixture. Sift the flour mixture and mix it with the egg-sugar mixture. Beat again with the mixer. Now place the finished dough on a baking tray and bake for about 20 minutes at 170 degrees.

In the meantime, mix the curd, yogurt, vanilla sugar until smooth. Mix the poppy seeds with 3 tablespoons of milk and add. Finally, mash the banana with a fork and add to the mixture.

Remove the sponge from the oven and place a second sheet of baking paper on top. Then turn the sponge over and rub the other side with a damp cloth. Peel off the paper and put it back on. Allow the sponge to cool.

Cut away the hard edges with a knife and cut the sponge into equal pieces (approx. 5x10cm). Spread the filling on the small slices and place some of the sponge on top.

Chill the curd slices with poppy seeds and bananas in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
