Instructions:

Mix the flour and salt and gradually knead in the oil and water until the dough is smooth. Rest the dough ball under a hot baking dish.

Topping:

Rinse mushrooms, clean, cut into thin slices. Fry mince and onion cubes in 2/3 of the light butter for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, mix with parsley and season.

Roll out dough on floured dishcloth to a large rectangle.

Brush with half of the oil. With the back of your hand, fold under the dough and stretch the dough all the way to the edge until very thin.

Sprinkle bread crumbs on the dough. Spread the mushroom-meat mixture evenly on top.

Roll up the strudel from the wide side by lifting the towel. Carefully place on a baking sheet greased with light butter. Brush with the remaining oil and bake in a heated oven at 225 °C for about 45 to 50 min.

One strudel has a total of about 3830 calories and is enough for 4 to 6 servings.
