Instructions:

For the apple pie, first prepare the dough.

For the dough, cream butter and sugar and then beat in the egg well. Sift flour and baking powder and stir into the dough.

Grease a tart pan (Ø 26cm) and pour the dough into it. For the topping, peel and slice the apples.

Sprinkle the apple slices with the lemon juice and spread evenly on the dough. Melt the butter and drizzle it over the apple slices and sprinkle everything with the brown sugar.

Sprinkle with almond slivers. Bake the apple pie in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 30-35 minutes.
