Instructions:

For the shortcrust pastry, knead all the ingredients into a dough and leave to cool for half an hour.

Roll out shortcrust pastry thinly and cut into 3 cm wide strips. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and set aside to cool repeatedly.

Baking time : 8 min. Current : 175 degrees (preheated)

For the almond paste, mix marzipan, powdered sugar, melted butter and flour with the kneading choppers of the mixer and dilute with egg white until the amount is spicy. Place the almond mixture in a piping bag fitted with a medium nozzle and pipe it along the edges of the pre-baked short pastry strips. Bake in the oven until light yellow.

Baking time : about 10 min Current : 185 °C (preheated)

Let the currant jelly bubble up and fill the strips with it while they are still hot.

After the jelly has set, cut the strips into 2-3 cm wide pieces.
