For the pink Easter eggs, use white eggs if possible, as the red beet color is rather subtle.
For the pattern, choose 6 beautiful herb leaves, cut 6 pieces of tights about 10 cm long and prepare 6 pieces of string to tie them together.
Now press a herb leaf tightly onto each egg so that it lies nice and smooth. Pull the pantyhose tightly over it and fix it on the back with the string. The tights must fit very tightly so that no color can run under the herb leaves.
Peel and coarsely chop the beets (it’s best to use disposable gloves so the red color doesn’t stick to your fingers). Put the peels and pulp in a pot and carefully add the eggs. Add the vinegar and pour in hot water until all the eggs are well covered.
Bring the eggs to a boil on the stove and cook for about 20 minutes.
Carefully lift out the pink Easter eggs, let cool and remove the pantyhose and herb leaf.
