For the dried pear pieces, depending on the size of the dehydrator, wash the pears about 3-4 kg, dry them, cut them in half, remove the seeds and, depending on your preference and the size of the pears, cut the halves further in half or simply cut them into wedges.
Place the pear pieces/splits on the platforms of the dehydrator and dry at 70 °C for about 20-25 hours. Depending on the juice content of the pears, this drying process may increase by a few hours.
Store the dried pear pieces in a dry place.
