For the red groats, coarsely grind the rye grains. Soak in boiling water with salt and sugar for about 20-30 minutes.

Stir in the lightly sugared fruit with any juice drawn from it, allow to cool and pour into deep plates. Pour liquid cream over it and serve the red fruit jelly.
