For the raspberry balls, preheat the oven to 200 °C and line a large baking tray with baking paper. Mix flour, rice flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl.

Work in the butter with your hands, add the sugar, egg and milk and knead everything into a soft dough.

Cut the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape each piece into a ball with your hand. Press a hole in the center with your finger and fill it with jam. Then close the balls again.

Place seam side down on the baking sheet and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

Sprinkle the warm raspberry balls with a little sugar and serve warm.
