For the nut whipped cream slices, separate eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Cream butter, sugar and yolks. Mix with flour, sifted baking powder and the almonds to form a dough.
Spread with a pastry card on a greased, floured baking sheet. This will be easier if you lightly moisten the pastry card.
Beat sugar into beaten egg whites, fold in nuts. Spread nut mixture on dough and bake in preheated oven at 175°C for about 30 (max. 40) minutes.
Cut into slices when cooled.
