Instructions:

Cut the bread into pieces and pour the warm milk. Stand briefly. Then squeeze well and chop finely.

Remove the peel from the onion and chop it. Sauté briefly in the warm butter until soft. Cool.

Chop the parsley. Put the onion, the bread, the minced meat, the egg and the cream in a large enough bowl. Season with salt, bell pepper and paprika. Knead by hand until uniform.

Dust your hands with a little flour and form small balls from the meat mixture. Fry them in the hot clarified butter on all sides.

For the sauce, melt the butter. Add the flour and roast until chestnut brown. Extinguish with the soup and the red wine. Let the sauce simmer for 10-15 minutes. Add the cream and season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper.

Add the meat balls to the sauce and let it bubble up briefly. Serve with long-grain rice or mashed potatoes.
