For the milk rolls first prepare all the ingredients so you can work quickly and efficiently.

Add the yeast to the milk with honey and malt and let stand for about 15 minutes.

Add the flour, salt and butter and knead together with a food processor on medium speed for about 5 minutes. Let the dough rise for about 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 200 °C.

Brush the rolls with the egg yolk-milk mixture, leaving out the indentation. Place on a prepared baking sheet, cover the rolls with a kitchen towel and let rise for another 15 minutes.

Bake the milk rolls in the heated oven for about 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
