Liver rinse and cut into cubes. Remove the skin from the onions and cut them into quarters. Cut peppers into pieces. Cut ham into quarters. Put the prepared ingredients alternately on skewers. Heat half of the lard and fry the kebabs for about 5 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper.

For the sauce, peel red onions and cut into rings. Drain the pumpkin and cut into small cubes. Cut mushrooms in half. Heat the rest of the lard. Sauté onions in it. Add pumpkin and mushrooms and sauté. Extinguish with water and let it boil up. Add sauce powder, let boil repeatedly. Rinse kitchen herbs, pluck off leaves or needles and add to sauce form. Season with brandy, salt and pepper.

Our tip: As an alternative to fresh herbs, you can also use frozen – these are also characterized by a fresh taste!
