For the Linzertorte, cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the egg little by little. Mix the flour with cocoa, spices, almond kernels and baking powder and add it as well.

Cover the bottom of a cake springform pan with three quarters of the dough and top with the jam. Place the remaining dough in strips on top.

Bake at 180 °C for one hour.
