Instructions:

Peel and grate raw potatoes. As well as the potatoes cooked one day before. Knead into a dough with salt and a little flour. Form “herrings” out of it.

Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and fry in hot fat until brown on both sides.

Briefly boil water and vinegar with spice grains, onion rings and bay leaf spice. Pour into a shallow dish. Salt.

Put the still hot patties into this marinade. Leave to marinate for at least one day. Take out carefully.
