1. stir berries, wine and preserving sugar in a high saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring several times. Once the liquid begins to bubble, do an extensive 3 min stirring.

2. fold in currant liqueur and empty on the spot with a ladle (so that the berries are evenly distributed) into clean, hot rinsed glasses and close tightly.
