Instructions:

For the apple pie, first prepare the filling. For the filling, peel apples and remove apple root. Then cut them into small pieces.

Bring water to a boil. Add sugar, lemon juice, lemon peel and cinnamon stick and remove from heat. Allow to steep briefly and add the apples.

Bring to the boil again briefly. Then cover and let cool. Discard the liquid and cinnamon (drain if necessary).

For the dough, cream butter with sugar and amaretto, then slowly add eggs, finally flour.

Prepare the cake pan with butter and breadcrumbs. Pour a part of the mixture into the cake pan, then spread the apples on it and then spread the rest of the mixture over it nicely.

Bake the apple pie at 180 °C for about 40 minutes.
