A simple but delicious cake recipe:
1. for the dough, mix the curd with milk, egg yolks, oil, sugar, salt and vanilla sugar. Mix flour with baking powder and gradually stir into the curd cream. Prepare everything with the dough hook of the mixer to a smooth dough and put it to cool for half an hour.
Cover a cake springform pan (Ø 24 cm) with parchment paper, roll out 2/3 of the dough on it, prick a few times with a fork and pre-bake in the oven at 175 °C for 15 minutes.
Rinse, peel, quarter and core the apples. Cut 1 apple lengthwise into 3 mm narrow slices for the surface, slice the remaining quarters diagonally into narrow slices and drizzle with juice of one lemon.
Mix curd cheese with eggs, sugar, kefir, a little juice of one lemon and custard powder until smooth.
Brush the edge of the pre-baked base with egg yolk, roll out the rest of the dough and place it as a rim in the tart springform pan, pressing it slightly smooth. Loosely fill apple slices into the mold, pour kefir curd on top. Place the remaining apple slices rosette-like on top. Bake in the oven at 175 degrees (gas: level 2) for 40-50 min. Before the last 10 minutes, brush with warmed honey.
