Preheat oven to 200 °C.

With buttermilk beaten egg to the mixture of flour, salt and baking powder form. Do not stir too much. Mix in cottage cheese and kitchen herbs. Mold into pans and bake for 20 min. Let cool on a wire rack.

Cut out a round lid to serve. Fill the hole with cream cheese, place a rosette of smoked salmon on top and put the lid on again. Garnish with fresh dill.

Mini versions can be served as cocktail bites. Offer large muffins for breakfast with separate fresh caeae and more salmon.

Our tip: As an alternative to fresh herbs, you can also use frozen ones – they also stand out for their fresh taste!
