How to prepare mussels that are already desanded & debearded:

For a starter dish, you need about 12 mussels per person. For a main course, calculate about twice that.
Open the mussel shell and place the mussel meat in half of the shell on a snail pan or other fireproof dish. Instead of fresh mussels, cooked mussel meat can also be used. Over the mussels pour the melted butter, grated nutmeg, chopped onion, garlic and juice of a lemon mold and season with pepper and salt to taste. Then all together on the fireproof form for 10 min in the heated stove (250-300 °C ) form. Minced parsley and, if you like, grated cheese just before serving over the warm mussel dish form.
Our tip: It is best to use fresh herbs for a particularly good aroma!
