Wash the chicken, pat dry and cut into pieces. Place the chicken pieces in a bowl. Mix the oil with salt and pepper to make a marinade and brush the meat with it. Cover and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour. For the sauce, finely chop the chili peppers (wear kitchen gloves for this, the peppers are very hot). Peel and dice the onion and garlic. Dice the tomato as well. Puree everything together with salt, tomato paste and olive oil in a blender. Cook the chicken pieces on the hot grill. Serve with the hot sauce. Serve with fried sweet potato slices or fried plantains.
