For the fried braids, beat sugar, eggs and salt until fluffy, add flour and cream. Knead well. If the dough is too soft, add some more flour.

Roll out the dough to a thickness of approx. 5 mm. Cut into 12 cm long and 1 cm wide strips and twist into spirals. Fold and twist a few more times to make spiral braids. Fry the fried braids in hot oil and sprinkle with sugar.
