For the Bohemian Poppy Seed Casserole, separate the eggs, beat the egg whites until stiff.
Boil sugar and milk, add rum and pour over poppy seeds. Add almonds, raisins and lemon juice. Gradually stir the yolks into the poppy seed mixture, fold in the beaten egg whites.
Grease a baking dish, alternately fill in the rusk and poppy seed mixture and bake the Bohemian Poppy Seed Casserole at approx. 200 °C for 40 minutes.
