Remove the skin from the cucumbers, cut them into pieces and remove the seeds. Put everything together in a large, well-sealing baking dish and add sugar, chopped onions, a handful of salt and the remaining ingredients. The cucumbers should now be left to marinate for 1-2 days. They can be kept in this way for 1-2 weeks.
