Instructions:

For the plum cake with cream glaze, sift flour with baking powder.

Preheat oven to 180°C and grease a deep baking tray with butter.

Wash the plums, cut them in half and remove the seeds.

Cut marzipan into small cubes.

For the dough, beat butter and sugar until creamy, stir in marzipan.

Gradually stir the eggs into the butter mixture and finally stir in the sifted flour alternately with the milk.

Spread the dough on the baking tray and cover with the plums. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of sugar and pre-bake on the middle rack for about 15 minutes.

Beat the eggs for the topping with the remaining sugar until creamy and stir in the sour cream.

Spread over the cake and bake the plum cake with cream topping for another half hour.
