Cook hash browns according to package directions.
In the meantime, cut bacon into cubes. Peel onion and garlic cloves, halve onion and cut into slices. Chop garlic finely. Put red and white beans in a sieve and drain.
Clean tomatoes, rinse, cut crosswise, blanch (scald) with boiling hot water, peel and dice.
Sauté onion and garlic in heated oil, add sliced beef and diced ham, season with salt, pepper and herbs and roast for about five to 10 minutes.
Gradually add green, red and white beans, chili peppers and diced tomatoes and sauté for about 15 minutes over medium heat.
Season campfire skillet with a dash of pepper sauce and serve with roasties.
